We decided to try La Guinguette after reading about it in our Canal guide. There is a lovely atmosphere as soon as you walk in. Fairy lights everywhere, trees decorated with pots and pans and utensils, the grill-fire burning and plenty of attentive staff. We had views of the canal as the sun was setting too.
