Visiting from sydney and debated over fish and chip shops in Ballarat and there is a few! We went for Marty's Fish Shop as it was close and reviews looked ok. We ordered fish, battered sav, potato cake, spring roll and crab stick and onion rings with chips. Fish was great we got the butterfish and it was huge, everything else was great! Wasn't fussed on onion rings though. Clean new shop. Would highly recommend! View all feedback.

Absolutely SHOCKING. 4 Staff - and after a long wait, the end result was overcooked fish , obviously in oil that was too hot , and should have been changed weeks ago. Rubbery uncooked Potato cakes and the rest was thrown out , as it was a disgrace.We will be driving past this place in future. View all feedback.
