Beautiful pub with a rich history close to Hampstead heath. I booked one month in advance for the Sunday roast in a quiet room with a fire place and few tables. Pretty decent place to get a bite to eat. Beer choices are NOT amazing. Too much macrobrew and not enough unique selection. Pub menu could be a bit more traditional, too (no bangers and mash?!? . And a lot of people smoking on the patio, would be better if they sectioned it off better. Burger was ok. Fish and chips a bit bland. Fries and triple cooked chips were really good. Disgusted to get a parking ticket for parking in their grounds. No obvious signs and nobody men...
