On the eve of the Basel marathon, I go to fill up on carbohydrates in this restaurant located in the heart of Basel. For obvious reasons I wasn't able to try a great variety of dishes, but the spaghetti alla chitarre cacio e pepe was really excellent: perfectly cooked and the pasta still had the taste of egg, typical of homemade pasta. Pleasant staff, real authentic experience due to the atmosphere and the fact that pretty much the whole team was unable to speak german. This somehow improved the authecity was on the other hand a sign of unsuccesful integration on side of the restaurant and its employees.
