Lovely! This was an unplanned visit. We were headed to dine somewhere else in Blowing Rock. Because it was unplanned, we could only get outdoor seating. But it worked out for us.We met the owner, Sunshine. Nice lady. We ordered the steak tartare, the soup du jour was this amazing creamy based pepper (like a pepper bisque) with a bit of a kick. Maybe my expectations were too high but for $100/person for 1 entree and 1 $15 glass of wine each I would have expected better food. We each had a filet which was very tough and not much taste. The side was French fries….yes French fries… cold and no flavor. No salad, no apps.
