Had planned to go to a concert, but that had been canceled at the last minute. We decided that we would go out and stretch out our “pre-concert” dinner at Lucca. The food was, as always, delicious and perfectly cooked. Our waiter (whose name I don’t remember) was wonderful: attentive, patient, knowledgeable, friendly and invisible until he suddenly knew when to appear... Nice meal and very good service. Caesar Salad great as was Short Rib. Pork chop was dry. Booked an early reservation, so we could make the Bruins game. Had understood that Lucca was offering the Dine Out Boston special on the Saturday evening ... but no special menu was presented. Should have stayed in the North End where our hotel was located and around the corner from the Garden. I am curious if I am mistaken about... View all feedback.
Valentines Day very busy and poor attention from servers. Meal was not paced well, wine bottle...
