Been a while since visiting the town and recently retraced steps back to the Bowra for a few beers and a bite with travelling companions a real old traditional front bar and the usual yarn telling locals ... nothing fancy but that taste of authenticity. Even though there were very few other diners we waited at least 50 minutes for our meals to arrive. Some of our meals were quite good but the Curry Duo was pretty much served cold. We expected this hotel dining room would be quaintly rough and rustic but pleasantly cosy.
