Excellent restaurant with excellent service. I visited with my partner for my birthday and we was welcomed by the manager when we walked in. He was great and pointed to a couple of lovely tables we could choose from, knowing that it was a special occasion. He made us feel very welcome and relaxed and is a true asset to Alec's. This is the 2nd time I have been to this restaurant, quite a nice place to eat but you get the feeling it's trying to hard to be exclusive. Food was ok but too expensive. I didn't feel comfortable and was pleased to finish meals and leave . not sure if I would go back read more.
