A visit to a restaurant at Southbank in Brisbane provided mixed experiences for diners. A family faced long wait times for their meals and ultimately left without dining, with the waitstaff providing a refund without much explanation. Another group found the food and service lacking, with overcooked scotch eggs and slow service. However, other guests raved about the relaxed atmosphere, beer selection, and quality food at the same establishment. Positive aspects mentioned included lunch specials, friendly staff, and enjoyable drinks. Despite varied experiences, the overall consensus seems to be that this place has its highs and lows but is worth a visit for a casual meal or drink.
Based on the average rating of 4, the Hop & Pickle is definitely worth a visit.
What Abdullah Ziemann likes about Hop & Pickle:
Quite simply the best place in Brisbane's southbank for a great relaxed atmosphere, amazing beers range and top quality food. If your visiting Brisbane this place has to be on your hit list. View all feedback.
What Shayna Corwin doesn't like about Hop & Pickle:
Popped in for a late-ish lunch (1.30pm)with the family. Great location, nice vibe having a beer down at Southbank watching life walk by. However the food and service were not up to scratch - simple order took 35 mins to come and the soft boiled scotch eggs were well over cooked - super hard rubber yolks. This place could be really nice if they just paid a bit of attention to the execution View all feedback.
