The first pizzeria in the US. There are 2 locations and I made sure I picked the one on Spring built in 1905. Still uses original brick oven. Service was impeccable, food was delectable, and setting was inviting and nostalgic. Handmade spritzers and other drinks. First off, to be fair, I picked up the pizza 20 minutes after I got the ready for pickup notification. Not sure if that 's the reason but I felt it had Subpar taste for a restaurant that claims to the first pizzeria in the states. The Crust lost most of its moisture to gain a crouton type texture.
