So it was my first time trying African food I got the egusi stew with pounded yam.the egusi tasted like nothing I have ever had before it tasted bitter and wasn't spicy the pounded yam was interesting it takes the flavor of any stew so I had it with some spicy curry and it was amazing. Two weeks ago I would’ve given 4 stars (remove one star bc sometimes the food was a bit too oily and the meat sometimes is tougher than I like it to be). Since they revamped the menu it has dropped to a 1. Now the only thing on the menu that resembles typical west african food is jollof rice with chicken.
