If you like the real stuff, this is the place. I don’t see how it isn’t tops in the region. You know it’s legit by the crust on the focaccia and guanciale in the carbonara among many other things. They’re also really nice and happy to answer questions. Don’t be turned off by the location; chef has long track record working in Michelin joints in nyc, lucky to have him in town. Poor seating, pricy, great food, great service, and plating, amazing bread, Italian cold cuts, pepper spread, honey drizzled goats cheese. Don't eat the tiramisu, not great, pancetta not great.
