This is hands down our favorite sushi spot in San Jose. We first discovered them about a week after they opened 6 years ago and we've been loyal customers ever since. The owner gave us a sampling of the sashimi wahoo with their serranito sauce. It was incredibly delicious. So every visit we start with either tuna, wahoo or yellowtail sashimi serranito. The sushi is above average for the area. There are some unique rolls you might not have seen anywhere else. But beware, they will try to charge you 16% IVA on top of the menu prices. This is completely illegal in Mexico. Prices as presented on the menu MUST contain the 16% IVA, by law. But if unknowing tourists will pay, just a few extra $ in the owners pocket.
