We were staying next door at a hotel that did not have a restaurant so walked over to Freeport Food & Drink and so glad we did. We were a group of 4 and each of us enjoyed our supper very much. Our waitress was very busy but never gave you the impression that she was rushed and took the time to explain some craft beers and wines to us, as well as to make food recommendations. We ordered appetizers and wine. The wine was from British, Columbia and was very good. The appetizers were just barely acceptable. The nachos were way over cooked -- almost burnt and had little "Nacho" flavor and zest. I think my expectations of great southwestern US Tex-Mex were way to high for Calgary standards.
