We went down to Camara de Lobos to enjoy the Food Festival at the weekend. What an amazing experience. The whole town and beyond came out to celebrate: the atmosphere was electric. But one of the highlights was this small bar: really friendly staff. The bar man (owner?) was wonderful and really did make a huge effort to serve us. Cocktails were really cheap and wonderfully made. Would recommend this little bar! read more.

We arrived around 4pm and ordered salads and fish for our meal of the day. Neither lunch or dinner. Staff are friendly and the food was fine. Our timing meant we had the roof terrace to ourselves, enjoying the views and preparations for next weekends fiesta. Following our 13km walk across from Funchal via Levada Piornois the beer was very tasty! I like this taberna read more.
