The Black Lion is under new management and has improved tremendously. It is now warm, friendly, accommodating and the food is constantly of a high quality. Try the beef sandwiches!! A spontaneous visit here for Sunday lunch. The food was good(Sunday roast) with either chicken, beef or pork available but unfortunately not the lamb. The service was ok but nothing to shout about and the prices were reasonable. The atmosphere could have been better but...the place is very clean and tidy.
