I visit Allegro Pizzeria every time I visit my parents who live in the Monterey area, and I keep forgetting to write a review, but today is the day! I can't eat gluten, and they have the BEST gluten free pizza I've ever had. I usually order to-go and enjoy it at a nearby beach. Even with to-go orders, the staff is always amazing and friendly. I tried this place for a quick slice. We arrived around 1 pm on. Saturday and it was pretty empty. The gentlemen's was nice and the restaurant had a nice rustic feel. Unfortunately, this is not best place for a pizza. First, it was $11 for a pepperoni slice. About twice as much as what I would pay for what I got.
