There's nothing unique about John Dory's it's decent food, it's relatively pricey and there's nothing that sets it apart that makes you want to call it your favourite chippy. The service is standard, nothing to shout home about. Quite disappointed as first try here, both the cod and haddock were very soggy and unappealing, clearly the oil temperature not high enough to crisp the batter, pity as the fish seemed a decent quality, three young kids serving and I didn't want to think the worst when went in but it turned out that way, likely need a bit of food and customer service training, on good note the chips were decent, curry sauce nice and...
