The Schafstall Hütte is jsut 40min away from the Wasserebne (sporting ground of Kastelruth), where plenty of parking is availabe. The hike is through the woods and suitable at every weather, rain or heat. Every time we arrive at the hut the owner and staff gives a warm welcome. This was a good place to stop, rest and get a bite to eat while hiking. The waitress didn't speak much English, but she tried. We had pancake soup and it hit the spot. We ate on the picnic tables outside and enjoyed the fresh air and scenic beauty. It was just a good little place for what it was. We were glad it was there! View all feedback.
