I loved this place. The dining room space is traditional New England and beautiful. For something different, in the front is a cozy place.. Watchang Tavern which is the original Stanton house. They have a fabulous happy hour Wed Sun 3 6. The menu is named Tavern Time and includes Stanton Snacks (the fried olives were yummy) and fun cocktails for $7.30. We had high hopes for the Wilcox when it reopened, but after trying it more than a few times, they have not addressed their issues. Lack of an interesting menu and slow if not poor service, with little satisfaction if brought to the attention of the proprietor. View all feedback.
They are charging water front view prices for a zero view place that smells like my grandmother...
Great food in a relaxed environment.
The menu card of the local is also suitable for vegetarians, as there are dishes that entirely abstain from meat.
Instead of eating at the restaurant, you can also order the dishes and independently pickup.
