In three words: cozy, welcoming, tasty. The whole place is very charming. There are many outdoor seats with fireplaces, and there is also a handful of tables inside. I was there with my husband and two teenagers. We ate house salad, gumbo, alligator po boy, black shrimp, Jambalaya and Beignets! The whole food was delicious and the portions were right. Wonderful setting and atmosphere! Very good drinks. Food needed more BAM as ours was bland. Catfish poboy was ok, good batter on fresh catfish. Remoulade was bland. Came with a few homemade chips. Hush puppies were good. Jambalaya was ok, lacking depth of flavor and spice. Odd service and ordering setup, you have to go to the counter and place your order and they hold your credit card.
