Recently made a trip to Lizard Joe's on a vacation to Progreso.. This place is so much fun,Beachfront bar, with great food.. try the ribs they are so tasty, my husband had 2 slabs, I had the brisket very tender along with 4 fantastic drinks They had a salsa band and a large dance floor, and the owners told us they have lots of events planned for the year. The BBQ is burnt and way over rubbed . Prices are rediculous high . The atmosphere is very click , local groups of musicians oriented . In mexico who wants to see some 3rd level american or canadian play rock star . 3 times all bad experiences . I gave the owners wife 100 dollar bill to change , ran up a ridiculous bill and kept change . My wife said Pinche CHELEM . View all feedback.
