My wife I have visited a few times now and every time, the food has been to a good standard. Our most recent visit was yesterday with my 91 year old mother. We had booked afternoon tea for three. Can 't comment on the food. Didnt get that far. My family and I came in for a meal and stood by the wait here sign for 5 minutes. In that time we saw what looked like the manager on his laptop at a nearby table. Eventually my wife stopped a barmaid and said Excuse me, can we be seated please to which she replied Yeah you can grab a seat here (the immediate bar and not the restaurant) then went off.
