Good basic food, a sweet and attentive waitress. As a kid my family would drive from Omaha to Hays, KS and Otis, KS to visit relatives. Foote Cafe was one of our go to stops for lunch. You could get a good burger and pie there. Some don't remember that Highway 81 used to go straight through town right past Foote Cafe.
