Wow! I had been wanting to try this place for months. Well worth the wait. The arepa is so big and filling (I got the Great arepa). I also got some empanandas. They are so crispy and tasty. I got 1 beef and 1 potato/eggplant. I liked them, but I would have liked a little more spice/seasoning in the filling. The roja salsa is a little spicy but not overbearing. not good. the arepas shell looked, tasted, and had the texture of fried paper towels. the empanadas were encased in what seemed to be dried corn that had been crushed and marinated in oil for hours before frying. dont expect good charing or anything satisfyingly crunchy or soft. the arepas filling was not pleasant (might just have been a matter of taste, though), but I loved the potato and eggplant! the latter is the...
