Booked a table on a Sunday for 5pm. Drive 40 miles to take dad for a Sunday carvery. Arrive to fine carvery service area empty and cleaned down. Apparently run out at 4. So reluctantly, we ordered off the menu. There was no fear of us burning our mouths on the luke warm offerings which had been plonked on our table by what seemed like an unhappy member of staff, after a half an hour wait.
