Excellent service, delightful food, lovely surroundings. Our server suggested we might like to consider choosing one savoury and one sweet afternoon tea. So glad we did just that. We enjoyed every bite. The scones were both light and tasty. There was a lively choice of titbits and the pork pie was truly the best I have ever tasted. Great venue in lovely surroundings, and the afternoon tea menu looked very appetising. Service was excellent but the food itself was a real let down the scones were heavy, hard and tasteless, and the cakes were far too sweet and sickly can't imagine many people would manage to eat their full allocation of 4.
