Friendly staff. It has a divey feel, not in a bad way. It feels decidedly local. 'Townie ' can get thrown around as an insult or shorthand for unsophisticated, but Boozie 's wears it like a comfy sweatshirt. Locals congregate there to feel comfortable, not to throw hands if an out-of-towner stops by. Sit down, have a drink, and enjoy yourself, but don 't expect it to be something it isn 't. I love the ambience of the restaurant, I've been coming there since the 90s. The service was great and quick for being a busy day downtown. However I do remember the food being better with more spices. The last time I was there the blt bacon was the size of my pinky and had no flavor much like the meat and cheese.
