As you approach the old chateau you would be excused for expecting quite and exceptional setting it is not every day that one lunches in a chateau. The ambience is therefore a little disappointing rustic and casual rather than palatial. But food and service were good. A excellent perche meuniere accompanied by exceptional fried potatoes. We were driving around Jura region, and were looking for a quiet spot to have a cup of coffee, when we saw the sign for Domont Restaurant.. we drove out the few kilometers, just to be turned away at the door if we don't want to eat a meal, we do not get in despite the restaurant being completely empty.
