The Tavern is quite a bit out from Central Dubbo but they do run a free shuttle bus and if you have your own vehicle it is no real problem. Certainly well worth going the extra distance as the meals are terrific. We had 2 of the specials, bangers and mash and chicken schnitzel (from memory $10.00 each). a few years ago we were here and had a great experience, but unfortunately our return was not so great. $90 for a family of 2 adult and 2 children to eat and eating was very bad pub quality. the menu looked great. but unfortunately the eating (reef and bark; salt and pfeffersquid; child fish and chips meals) was very bland, badly cooked and really missed the brand. also quite sure the tartaric acid sauce was out (mel... Just checked out the launch of Boss Burgers at the Tav! Holy that Burger was good! I truly hope...
