I've eaten at the Oak and Carriage twice in the last month. The first time I had the Nick Taco salad and it was excellent. Today the Roast beef and Yorkie which I found a bit heavy and glommy. I wouldn't order it again but it tasted fine - just too heavy for me.The servers we had were good both times and our wait was reasonable both times too.I guess some of the other reviewers got there on an unlucky day or had diff... Had the fish and chips and terrible is the only way to explain it! Customer service not much better. Server did a food check and we told her it was bad! Her answer "Oh yeah it looks burnt" Then walked away! We saw her tell the manager and he looked at us, shrugged his shoulders and walked away. Will not eat there again. View all feedback.
