Finding itself just a short hop from the YHA in Patterdale, this gem is a must visit on a weekend. Fantastic staff, really lovely people. Very friendly and generous. We went on Friday evening only to find that the kitchen was shut. Not even residents were being offered simple meals. Luckily we had options in our van for an evening meal.
