I really wanted to love the Carter House, but it was just okay. I do appreciate that it's dog-friendly, and that was a big plus. The room, though, was sparsely furnished and seemed pretty tired. Best thing was the nice happy hour in the lobby starting at 4 pm. Staff were super friendly and very helpful.
