The absolute best Portuguese barbecue chicken I’ve ever tasted. We visited here the last time we were in town two years ago and couldn’t wait to get back. This trip we eat from here twice in the space of a week. It’s a really authentic, no frills, traditional place. So amazing to see them cook over charcoal. Can’t wait to come back again next year! For about €12 I had a beer and more food than I could eat. You get what you get, which is rice (plain boiled a little overcooked), fries (nice and crispy but a little salty), simple salad of tomato lettuce onion with oil herbs and vinegar, and chicken with or without piri piri.
