After months of staying in or only going a short distance, we had a drive from our home in Long Sutton to the Chequers. What a lovely place. Smashing friendly landlady. The pub was really clean. The food was excellent Lamb Shank for me and Rump steak for husband finished by Baileys cheesecake and cherry crumble and custard. All of it was absolutely delicious and cooked so well. Thank you !!
