Awesome little Japanese market complete with your touchscreen menu for ordering hot items. Sushi is made fresh on the spot and placed in the small refrigerated section so you can grab-n-go. They make their seaweed rice rolls too! Those are my go-to's to eat on the road or take on a hike. My favorite dish here, the katsu curry options. Highly recommend! View all feedback.
What Cerise ?Cherry? Stewart doesn't like about Kitayama Japanese:
The restaurant is small, with somewhat of a funky design, but the adjacent convenience store is neat. The to-go items really appear to be the winning choices. Excellent Japanese desserts and lovely grab and go offerings. The meal we ordered in the sit-down side was lacking. The fish was not fresh, but rubbery and flavorless. The Miso had no tofu. Kitsune udon is as simple as udon can get, but its still very comforting and tasty!
Bento box was good. Tuna Maki Roll portion was TINY and not worth the price.
