Early evening stop-off after ramble through Coole Park, Gort. Much of Moran's is as we expected. Great brown bread, and all the seafood salads. The covered outdoor space with views across the water is a great addition, and two egrets were enjoyed, as they browsed for their supper on the opposite bank. 50 years since our first visit, we are regular visitors and are never disappointed. It's a lovely seafood restaurant with lots of little sections and we had a booth to ourselves as a group of four. It was ideal for the seafood lovers amongst us they were spoilt for choice. The atmosphere made up for the lack of choice for non-fish eaters. I'd go again anyway... read more.
