This is an easy restaurant to get to, and the food was quite good. The waitress was incredibly friendly and patient with our broken German, so we were thankful. Very big portions and not super expensive. This is not a touristy restaurant, and was our favorite 20+ years ago. It's changed a bit, but out is still a quintessential German Gasthaus restaurant. If you want to meet German and have an average service and average food you might go there. We didn't feel that much comfortable and with small children, we won't recommend it. The waiter we had was friendly, however the clientele and other people working are too "German" and not really friendly. you don't feel comfortable.
