Serves locally brewed beer from the Wylam brewery no longer brewed on site) at £5-6 a pint it’s not cheap but as it’s our first brewpub of the day it may prove to be the going rate! First off I love By the River Brew Co. Second I love the Dabbawall in Jesmond. But this “Kebabs, Wraps Curries by Dabbawal” oh dear. 1 item on the menu £10+ for a “smashed lamb burger”. Took an absolute age to come and when it did it was barely even a slider. What there was tasted ok but was like warm. Handful of fries in a garlic sauce that were like warm also.
