This review is for the deli department. I am familiar with their signature sandwich menu, but decided to create my own. The sandwiches are HUGE! A bit expensive, but I always get the rule because I can't eat a big one. I went to Safeway today to get some freshly baked rolls (which I like to get), but I have a heavy sesame allergy. To my horror, the whole bakery was covered with sesame seeds. Absolutely disgusting, how can someone not clean the tubs in? I never go back to this safeway, and I hope who the manager or shift manager is for this bakery will be treated. Totally unacceptable.
