Found this place by chance and stopped to have a coffee but then found ourselves tempted by the menu . . . and had lunch. The scones and cakes looked lovely but as we are trying to be good' we opted for the soup and it was delicious. Young staff charming, older supervisor rude! Vegan order of soup came with buttered sliced bread. Questened the bread and was abruptly told we should have asked for vegan. We had asked, it was marked vegan on the menu. Plain bread given, but it soured the lunch to have been told off and also come on! sliced bread pre buttered? The menu mention granary roll....
