I enjoyed going to the new Martha Washington Bakery. I could get some authentic Polish desserts, and I had to try some of the things I got. It is a very clean place, the owner was very dedicated and I went with some wonderful Polish desserts and cookies that I will bring back with me to Ohio when I go to Hamtramck Michigan on Monday. We made a special trip there to get fresh bakery items. We purchased Paczki, Angel Wings, Raisin Challah bread a five layer bar, and a crispy cinnamon cookie. The Paczki were filled to order, and we assumed very fresh. Our bill was almost $40.00, and when we got home we discovered the bread and Paczki were not fresh at all.
