Had a nice meal here after visiting Trincomalee. Service was fast, food was good, portions were adequate rather than generous but they were good value after a weekday meal deal. Great view over the Quay towards the museum of Hartlepool. It would be nice if some parents could prevent their children repeatedly running around other customers' tables but that's not the pub's fault is it. View all feedback.

Wonderful staff, very polite, food great, but opened up menus and noticed covered in sauces and food stuff. Let down by a little attention to detail in the housekeeping department.
