service was excellent. the food was beautiful. we had recommended the rindsirloin (char grilled) roast dinner for 2 followed by dessert and coffee. book early to avoid disappointment because they had run out of chicken, bark and lamb roast dinner at 14.20. also as an additional bonus for me I had discounted 25% from the bill with my blue light card (nhs). we left a generous tip when the staff was happy. Lovely mains of steak pie as the meats for the Sunday lunch had run out again. Very disappointed with the banoffee sundae. At £6 it should have been nice but the waffles were hard and stone cold and without saying, they substituted caramel sauce with chocolate sauce which I hate.
