We loved the staff here. Sean tha barman was Very attentive and friendly. Laura was a superstar. Her energy and enthusiasm is such an asset to this establishment. Only popped in for a beer but ended up staying for a good while. We both ordered the Ribeye which was perfect. They were very flexible in their efforts to accommodate our choices. Lovely pub, but sadly let down by very poor food. One of us has the Mussels which were served cold and dry. Second portion served hot, but white wine and cream sauce was like water. A few of us had the festive pie with veg. Pie was nice, however the roast potatoes were of the frozen variety and barely cooked, the parsnip had been deep fried and again virtually raw, the sprouts were too Al dente and very watery. A ver...
