I first visited the Soldiers in about 1965, had so many good sessions in there over many years. Made some good friends too. So sad that it's closed but by all accounts it was best to put it out of its misery, I hadn't been in for a few years, used to be in there most evenings on the way home from West Ruislip Underground.
