The Saint George has a huge restaurant and the first time we didn't book, the place was full with kids pirate party! We were directed to the bar and I have to say it was excellent. You have to order at the bar but you can order from the restaurant menu, so it didn't bother us at all. There were high tables with stools and a nice view of the road. I had a meal last night with work colleagues. The wait staff mucked up our booking had no table for us. We were not told about it being a kids eat free night.The meal was extremely average.But one of the wait staff was appalling rude to me when after there was a mix up about a drink I had paid for but not received.
