The beer was great the food was run of the mill for this kind of place steaks, schnitzel, maultaschen (large German ravioli), sliced roast pork in beer gravy but freshly prepared and reasonably priced. There are daily specials that venture a bit away from the usual fare. The Brauhaus 2.0 is a microbrewery in the northwest of Karlsruhe. It's inside what used to be the cantine of the old American army base. So it's a nice building, with a nice terrace and beer garden. Excellent German food! I really enjoyed the Weißen Bier : I can only recommend it.
The menu card of the restaurant is also suitable for vegetarians, as there are dishes that entirely abstain from meat.
