The beer was great the food was run of the mill for this kind of place steaks, schnitzel, maultaschen (large German ravioli), sliced roast pork in beer gravy but freshly prepared and reasonably priced. There are daily specials that venture a bit away from the usual fare. The Brauhaus 2.0 is a microbrewery in the northwest of Karlsruhe. It's inside what used to be the cantine of the old American army base. So it's a nice building, with a nice terrace and beer garden. The beer itself is very tasty.
