We popped in at 5 pm to have a look at the menu for later but no one seemed to know what would be on the menu until the cook wrote it out at 6pm. However when we pressed the bar staff for some idea they disappeared returned with a scrap of paper saying chicken and salmon would be on. This is a truly local local . On Saturday, it opened at 4pm. We arrived shortly after that and it was well frequented by villagers, which was a healthy sign! The decor is pleasantly traditional and various local beers and spirits are stocked. The Norfolk Wherry beer was tasty, as was the Norfolk gin.
