Our first visit to the Derby Arms last Sunday, was concerned reading previous reviews, but new management have thrown themselves into making this an asset to the village. Friendly feel to the place, staff polite and efficient, in particular young girl and guy serving us on table 9. Roast dinner was incredibly good!! We stopped coming here after a decline in quality of food. Decided to come today for a roast dinner as we heard there was a new chef we will not be returning again; Yorkshire pudding was not cooked, some of the food was hot and other parts were lukewarm at best. Roasties we’re frozen type and in my opinion the chicken breast and lamb were prepacked and not carved from a joint. Very disappointed. View all feedback.
